Optimise Your Brain = Optimise Your Life
Neurotherapy Australia was established in 2022. Focused on making Neurotherapy accessible to those needing it the most, we partner with therapists and coaches to work together in bringing Neurotherapy into homes all over the country.
Neurofeedback is beneficial for anxiety due to its ability to target the underlying brain dysregulation associated with anxiety disorders.
Following an initial assessment, we tailor our programs specific to your or your child's brain data gathered and your goals.

1. Brain Regulation: Neurofeedback helps individuals regulate their brain activity by providing real-time feedback on neural patterns. By training specific brain regions associated with anxiety, such as the amygdala and prefrontal cortex, neurofeedback can promote balanced brain function and reduce excessive anxiety-related activity.
2. Targeted Treatment: Neurofeedback can be tailored to target the individual's unique brain activity patterns underlying their anxiety symptoms. This personalised approach allows for precise targeting of dysfunctional neural circuits, leading to more effective symptom relief.
3. Reduction of Physical Symptoms: Anxiety often manifests with physical symptoms such as increased heart rate, muscle tension, and shallow breathing. Neurofeedback can help individuals learn to modulate their physiological responses to stressors, leading to decreased physical symptoms of anxiety.
4. Emotional Regulation: Chronic anxiety can disrupt emotional regulation processes in the brain, leading to heightened emotional reactivity and mood instability. Neurofeedback training can help individuals regain control over these processes, leading to improved emotional stability and resilience to stress.
5. Long-Term Benefits: With consistent practice, neurofeedback can induce lasting changes in brain function, resulting in sustained reductions in anxiety symptoms and improved overall well-being. This makes it a valuable tool for long-term anxiety management and prevention of anxiety-related complications.
There are certain markers that we look for when looking for traits of anxiety. One is looking at hi-beta frequency waves in relation to alpha frequency waves. Also, we note the alpha response throughout the brain when looking at eyes open vs eyes closed.
Heart Rate Variability (HRV) assessing is something we run most of our clients through as it allows us to see the functions of both branches of the autonomic nervous system.
We then begin to run clients through a technique called the 4 to restore technique, this brings order back into the autonomic nervous system.
